Assignment Details
- Location: Providence, Rhode Island
- Start Date: June 2026
- Duration: Through September 2026
- Schedule:
- 3 shifts per week (34-36 hours/week)
- 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM shifts
- Every other weekend required (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care

What You’ll Do
- Provide urgent care services for patients ages 18 months and older
- Manage 33-38 patient encounters per 12-hour shift
- Perform procedures such as laceration repair, abscess drainage, and other minor interventions
- Interpret basic X-rays (radiologist over-read available within 30-60 minutes)
- Work across 3 nearby clinic locations with schedule provided in advance
- Collaborate with MAs, radiology techs, and patient service representatives
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Active Rhode Island license preferred (licensure candidates considered)
- Minimum 2 years of urgent care or relevant experience required
- Comfortable with high patient volume and minor procedures
- Ability to float between nearby clinic locations
