- Specialty: CRNA
- Practice Setting: OR/Surgery Dept. Level 3 Trauma Center. 180-bed facility. Annual ER volume is around 80.
- Dates/Coverage Needed: Beginning ASAC FT for 3 months with the option to extend. The schedule consists of 8's or 10's between Monday-Friday. No weekends or call.
- Case Mix: Cardiovascular, Vascular, Neuro, General, ENT (limited peds), Urology, Ortho, Robotic, Colo-Rectal, Podiatry, Plastic
- Covers out-of-department services: Non-invasive cardiology, OB, Endoscopy, Radiology (CT & MRI)
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop care plans
- Administer general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care
- Monitor patients during procedures and manage anesthesia complications
- Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
- Maintain accurate documentation per hospital and regulatory standards
- Support Staff/Supervision: 1 Anesthesiologist to 4 CRNA's - supervised model. OR staff includes RN and scrub techs.
- Patient Demographic: Minimal peds - mostly adult/geriatric
- # of OR's: 11
- Avg # of surgical cases per day: 35
- Credentialing Time-Frame: 90 days
- Certifications: NBCRNA, BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Active MI License: Yes, required to present
