Memory Care Coordinator (COTA) Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee therapeutic memory care programming and resident engagement activities, developing individualized activity and support plans
- Support residents with cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and functional needs, incorporating occupational therapy principles in daily programming/interventions
- Educate caregivers on dementia care strategies and resident engagement techniques
Qualifications
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
- Experience working in memory care, dementia care, senior living, SNF, assisted living, or long-term care required
- Leadership, care coordination, or activities programming experience preferred
- Strong understanding of Alzheimer's disease and dementia care best practices
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation based on experience, Roughly Starting at $25-$35/hr
