Clinical Magnet (part of ICON Medical Network), is partnering with an exceptional senior healthcare organization to help them find a Director of Pharmacy Operations near Boulder, Colorado. This person will deliver strategic, operational, and regulatory oversight for a high-volume, closed-door facility. This leader manages production, workflows, automation, staffing, and quality initiatives to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient service. Operating within a fast-paced, highly automated environment, the Director drives operational excellence while meeting patient clinical and service needs.

Director of Pharmacy Operations Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of pharmacists, supervisors, and technicians.
- Spearhead daily operations for a high-volume, automated closed-door pharmacy dedicated to senior care
- Guarantee safe, accurate, and highly efficient dispensing, packaging, verification, and distribution workflows.
- Oversee the performance, maintenance, and optimization of cutting-edge automated dispensing and packaging technology.
- Drive best practices in inventory control, production scheduling, workflow standardization, and automation utilization.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- PharmD or BS in Pharmacy.
- Active Colorado and California pharmacist license in good standing.
- Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in additional states as needed for compliance.
- 5+ years of pharmacy management experience, including leadership in operational or dispensary pharmacy settings.
- Experience in high-volume, closed-door, centralized, or automated pharmacy operations.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations, controlled substance handling, and quality/safety requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation based on experience, starting at $160,000 yearly
