JOB PURPOSE

 The Director of Locums Sales will lead and manage our sales operations in a growing healthcare locums staffing agency. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue, expand market share, and build strong relationships with healthcare organizations in need of locum tenens professionals. This position requires an individual with a strong understanding of the healthcare staffing industry, exceptional leadership abilities, and a proven track record of driving sales growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

¨     Sales Strategy & Leadership:

¨     Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to meet revenue and growth targets.

¨     Lead and mentor a team of sales managers and representatives, fostering a high-performance culture.

¨     Set clear sales goals, KPIs, and performance metrics for the team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

¨     Market Expansion & Client Acquisition:

¨     Identify and target new business opportunities, expanding the agency’s client base in the healthcare sector.

¨     Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at hospitals, healthcare facilities, and physician practices.

¨     Drive sales efforts to secure long-term contracts and partnerships for locum tenens staffing needs.

¨     Client Relationship Management:

¨     Oversee the development of strong, ongoing relationships with both new and existing clients.

¨     Act as a senior point of contact for major clients, addressing needs, concerns, and business development opportunities.

o   Ensure client satisfaction through regular communication, performance evaluations, and proactive issue resolution.

¨     Collaboration with Internal Teams:

¨     Work closely with the recruitment, operations, and marketing teams to ensure the sales strategy aligns with business capabilities and goals.

¨     Provide insights to the recruitment team to ensure that client staffing needs are met promptly and efficiently.

¨     Collaborate with marketing to ensure effective lead generation and brand positioning within the healthcare staffing industry.

¨     Sales Analytics & Reporting:

¨     Track and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership.

¨     Utilize CRM tools and data analytics to assess sales trends, customer behavior, and market conditions.

¨     Continuously evaluate and refine sales tactics to improve effectiveness and profitability.

¨     Industry Knowledge & Networking:

¨     Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and healthcare staffing challenges.

¨     Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

¨     Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare organizations, industry groups, and professional associations.

¨     Additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION & TRAINING

¨     Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred).
