Clinical Magnet (part of Icon Medical) is looking for a full-time Patient Access Lead to join our partner's team in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area.

Summary: Provides day-to-day support to Patient Access Representatives. Acts as a subject matter and technical expert. Ensures that staff offer a positive patient experience to patients and families. Demonstrates effective communication and customer service skills when interacting with staff, patients, families, and leadership. Trains and educates staff to enter complete and accurate orders, demographic and insurance information including authorizations, referrals, medical necessity. Ensures staff's compliance with departmental and institutional protocols including communicating and collecting out of pocket liability from patients.
Key Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years of Patient registration experience required in a physician office/practice, hospital setting, healthcare insurance provider or other healthcare relevant setting
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, health insurance (Medicare/Medicaid), and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills
- Ability to lead teams, solve problems, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills when interacting with staff, patients, families, and leadership
Compensation and Schedule:
- Target rate is $17-$22.95/hour
- Full-Time, 3pm-11:30pm (40-hours/week with rotating weekends)
